[ST Edge/Beta] Xiaomi/Aqara/Tuya zigbee sensors driver

I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post potential bugs. If not, please point me to the correct place.

My Aqara P1 reports an illuminance value of 65536 when very dark. I’m guessing that it should be 0. Anyone else seeing this?

I also can’t change the Sensor Detection Sensitivity to anything other than Medium. It just fails to update.

Everything else seems to be working well. Thanks to the devs for their work.

I have an aqara m2 hub controlling it right now and am relying on aqara updating the hub to support matter so I can get it working with the rest of my ST system.

So no, it doesn’t currently “work” with ST but I have no reason to believe it won’t in the very near future (via matter integration between aqara and ST)

@lcoker

This came up several times and I asked for logs each time. Never got them. Unfortunately, I don’t have this device to test and experiment with, so without logs there is nothing can be done.

Did you have a chance to read
Notes on configuring sleepy devices in the first post?

My bad. I read that and then somehow didn’t think it applied. Still getting used to using these devices. I followed your instructions and the sensitivity updated correctly.

I had to throw a towel over the sensor to block out the light and then trigger it to get the logs…

@lcoker ,
Thanks for the logs. Let’s see whether version 1.8.16 solves P1 illuminance reporting issue.
You can either wait 12 hours or try to uninstall the driver if you don’t want to wait.
The uninstall will fail as you have a device connected, but this attempt will trigger driver update

1.8.16 installed and it looks like it has fixed the issue. It now reports illuminance of 0 in the dark.

Thanks

How was the driver for the tuya presence sensors?

Do you intend to develop a driver for the aqara curtain driver E1 rod version?

Perhaps stupid question, but I can’t figure this out…
All Xiaomi sensors with the external button are pairing fine, the app will find them,
but how do I force the EDGE driver on the devices using pinhole switch to pair.
App will not find them and when I use the catchall pairing trick there is no way to choose the EDGE driver only the old one.
Can you please help!
Thanks!

just paired a FP1. On Channel 19

Went well after I realized I had to scan the barcode on it. The temperature reported initially (incorrect temp) and then stopped updating afterwards. Besides temperature FP1 has been working well.

thank you for all your work!

Sorry @ygerlovin been very busy and not with the Smarthome.
In case the problem still exists I will get back to you with the logs as you showed.

Hello, is there a driver for this Tuya Lux/PIR sensor? I’m not sure if I attached the correct information, so my apologies in advance.

I tried using the existing drivers in this topic but it didn’t work.

Was this device added to the driver?

Thanks

The driver hasn’t been added yet, and we don’t know when.
I asked the developer about the schedule, but there is no answer yet.

Did you find a driver?

Hi guys,

A short update.
There some work (mainly research) has been done for new Tuya sensors requested.
However, there were a little progress as I only have limited time for this and supporting already released integrations takes most of it (for all drivers, not specifically for this one).

Besides, currently new the developement is focused on additional remotes, as I recieved new devices and can test them directly.

I do try to add support for new devices, that are very similar (or at least look like it from the first glance). Unfortunately, handling EF00 cluster is not this case.

Sorry, but this is the best I can offer right now.

Hello @ygerlovin, how are you ?

Is the MCCGQ11LM device displaying luminance on last version?

I don’t believe it supports luminance only open/close.

I don’t think it could , when I google it it’s a door sensor !!??!

Shame on me, thank you sooooooo much!
