ST CLI for Ring Cam

I have a Ring Cam and I have a question regarding Ring device control from ST CLI.

  1. Inaccurate motionSensor status
When I checked from Ring app, the cam Motion Detection is “On”. However, when I tried
smartthings devices:component-status “DEVICE_ID”, it is still “inactive”.

imageCapture image
imageCapture encrypted
imageCapture captureTime
healthCheck checkInterval 60 s
healthCheck healthStatus
healthCheck DeviceWatch-Enroll
healthCheck DeviceWatch-DeviceStatus “online”
motionSensor motion “inactive”

  1. Get history
Can we get motion detection history from CLI?

ST app shows motion detection history as follow. Can we get this information from CLI?

  1. Turn on/off Motion Detection from CLI
Can we switch on/off motion Detection from CLI?

Could be a matter of timing.

Yes.

? Fetch more history records ([y]/n)?

No. These are the commands available for a Ring camera:

bep@debian12:~$ smartthings devices:commands xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxx

Backyard Home

Capabilities:
─────────────────
 1 refresh
 2 healthCheck
 3 webrtc
 4 imageCapture
 5 motionSensor
 6 battery
─────────────────

And as seen in the ST Advanced Web App

You are my life saver. Thanks!
