I am trying to speed up my commands from a DTH. I will send a command to a local IP which will talk in json. It is kinda slow. I will take about 7 seconds to get a successful device action. It routes via the cloud so it hits SmartThings servers then back around to my SmartThings hub and then to my local device for a command to be sent.
I understand that DTH are cloud only but is there any way of speeding up these commands that really should be local on the hub? I am using a Parent / Child DTH. When I view the commands in “live logging” the commands are instant but the actions are delay by 7 seconds or more.
