sorry for ignorace, but Sonoff Mini wifi switch can be paired directly to Aeotec HUB v3, without having it connected through the ewelink app?

I don’t know of any Edge Drivers for Sonoff WiFi devices. Therefore you will need to use the eWeLink app and the official c2c integration to get your Sonoff WiFi devices into SmartThings.
