I have several rooms where I want multiple actions from one switch. I am using a controller with multiple buttons. I then have automatic routines which respond to the button press and carry out multiple actions. Just what you would expect, and mostly works. However, sometime there is a 5+ second delay between the button press and the actions.
What could be causing that? Maybe noise on the zwave network? Maybe a rouge device sending out random commands? Is there anyway to trouble shoot this? I think there used to be a live log which would tell me if random commands were flooding the network, but I think that is gone. Or maybe a signal strength meter which would help me find something broadcasting when it shouldn’t be?
My wife is not happy when she turns on a light and it doesn’t respond for many seconds. Gives my plenty of motivation
