# SmartWings Zwave Driver issue

Recently purchased a SmartWings Zwave window treatment. I was able to connect it to SmartThings via the QR code. My issue is that SmartThings only recognizes it as a dimmer switch. It will sort of work via dimmer settings. I installed the Edge Driver for Zwave blinds but it is not an option when selecting the device. Any help is appreciated. Can’t include more than 1 photo as a new poster.

I have installed the driver already from that link. It does not appear as an option for the blinds.

If you have installed that driver remove and add the blinds again. If it does not work contact Smartwings support.

Removed and re-paired with the same issue persisting. I’ve reached out to SmartWings. If I get a fix I’ll post it here.

No solution yet. SmartWings sent me a replacement motor but it behaves the same. They said they are investigating.

I ended up purchased other blinds that do Matter over Thread and instigated directly with HomeKit and they work flawlessly.
