I want to use my echo show gen 2 as my hub, i have a smarthings plug that was connected to a smartthings hub. I disconnected the hub but cant figure out how to connect plug it to my echo show?
What generation plug is it?

Its model # STS-OUT-US-2, I dont know what gen that is.
Looks like the 2017 model. Try the resetting procedure documented in the PDF to get it back into pairing mode, and then discover devices with Alexa.
