I emailed support about one of my motion sensors only reporting temperatures when it detects motion. Never heard back from them. I tried looking at the logs and then realised that motion events that have no triggers with Smartapps is not logged. Is there anything else that I can try to see if the sensor is actually working properly? If it isn’t, I’d want to have it exchanged while it’s still in warranty. But I’m at a lost as to whether it’s a software or hardware problem.
