You’ll be using the hubAction command to pass commands to the device. Check out the Generic Camera Device type for an example of how to use this function (it’s kind of tricky):

After a week of hacking around while waiting for support to respond to my ticket, I finally figured out how to do local http GET and parse the response for cameras. So I wrote this nice little generic camera device that I have tested with Panasonic Cameras and D-Link cameras and should work for any camera that has a url to retrieve the latest image. Just as a note; Setting your Device Network ID (DNI) as the devices IP:PORT in Hex is very important. Also, you need to return the hubAction command if you are using it within another function.
