This is the issue that firmware is not being updated and for some reason the current Smartthings app doesn’t force an update to the firmware.

Samsung Connect Home. Can not setup 36-302 Error

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is the place to post. if there is is a better place. please let me know. Anyway. I bought a Samsung Connect Home (ET-WV521) (looks like old stock. Was not used) when trying to configure the device using the SmartThings app it fails at 69% and then shows a screen with an 36-302 error code. I searched a lot what that error means and could not find anything. [error2] My suspicions is that the Connect Home firmware is outdated and that something changed server side for the setup process. But can not update the firmware if the device is not set up, and can’t set it up without updating the firmware. Probably i’m wrong and the issue is something else. Has anyone encountered a similiar issue?
