Just got a an Aqara u400 and was wondering how home key is shared to members outside the members in smartthings home.

but I could be confused on this subject so best that someone with more knowledge assist.
Over at the aqara forum I’ve provided my situation far more extensively and I’ll place it below in a moment. My goal is to have the digital key in both Apple HomeKit and SmartThings, unfortunately no matter what I do I can only place it in one of the ecosystems, using multi admin simply isn’t working. Exclusively in my situation at least, this is happening between ST and HK, I’m able to add it to GH whether through HomeKit multi admin or ST multi admin depending on what I set up first.
What I was asking here was maybe I could bypass adding the key to Apple Home and just share it like digital car keys can. Unfortunately that is not the case and no link exists to do so in the Samsung Wallet app.

Samsung Wallet Digital Home Key began rolling out in select regions in March 2026 and will expand in alignment with the launch timeline of compatible smart lock brands.
So the key in my Samsung Wallet app is present! The issue is that it can’t be shared for the time being at least, for digital car keys you can hit a share button that creates a link, which you can then send to another individual providing them with access to the digital key. Contrary to what I previously believed, you currently cannot do thaf, my main goal is to just add it to Apple Home so all members in my household can leverage the digital key. As of right now its either the Apple users or Samsung users, not both.
