Right now my living room’s not as smart as I’d like it to be. At least on the TV side…
I’ve got an oldish non DVB tuner flat TV that I hooked up to a mac mini with an Eye TV DVB tuner…
It works mainly, except for some st*pid minor details concerning Eye TV and my harmony home remote. More on that on request if you think you could help! Lol!
Anyways, we at home tend to record almost everything and watch it at a later time so we can skip commercials and such…
Other times we’re watching something live (like the news or sports) and recording something else at the same time…
I’ve been reading a lot about samsung TVs that can connect to the smartthings network… or something… right?
Have you guys seen a Samsung TV in Europe that will be able to do all this, record 2 shows or record 1 and live view another, be connected to the smartthings net, oh and if there’s a way to have the ambilight feature from philips, that would rock! Lol!
Ideas?
