Hi,

I don’t know if possible. If the bulb can control it’s self if it recognize power from a dumb switch.

for example, if the bulb is turned off from ST but I turn on the light switch- I want the bulb to turn on.

or if the bulb is on and the switch is off I would like the bulb to turn off.

I reason for this is because I would like to get a Philips Hue bulb but also get dumb switch control.

Smart bulbs need constant power to operate, even when the light itself is not on. What you’re trying to do can be accomplished going the opposite direction. Namely, using “smart” switches and “dumb” bulbs.

I know, I have a few wemo already . Trying to save a couple of bucks because I would like colored bulbs.
