I currently have two HVAC systems in my home, both with variable-speed blowers. I’d like to find a smart humidistat that will run the the AC on lowest fan as needed to keep the humidity below a certain set point during the summer without having to drop the temperature way down. It also needs to be able to control a whole-house humidifier in our first floor system in the winter. I’m finding smart (or simply wireless, which is fine) humidistats that will work with the humidifier in the winter to increase the humidity, but not one that’s smart/wifi that will decrease the humidity during the summer.
