The smart hub home in my BU8100 does not work when you press it on the remote home button even using the remote app in home and when I turn on the tv it loads with the dancing home icon and then turns into a black screen, all the buttons and functions work.
I believe I have noticed one or two users reporting similar issues. You may wish to reach out to ST support directly and let them investigate.
Same issue here on my BU8000. Happened from the mid August. Smart Hub buttons don’t work though I can still access Netflix/Amazon apps through their dedicated buttons on the remote.
Have tried everything (smart hub reset, router reset, reset to factory settings) but with no fix.
