Is there anyway to have your smart home monitor tie into alexa? So if you have an intrusion rather than the sirens just going off the alexa can say “Intrusion Basement Motion Detected”. Support said something about Alexa Helper but didn’t go into much detail.
Currently there is no way for Alexa to receive notifications from outside services. i’ve seen a couple in the works, but nothing released with SmartThings integrations yet without running a separate tablet or phone and connecting it via Bluetooth to an Echo.
^ This is what I do. I then use webCoRE to trigger the notifications. Big Talker also works great.
