Yes… To some extent.
Devices that have a spare open/close header just need a cheap relay circuit that trips upon sufficient analog voltage – no CPU or programing needed.
Alternatively, of course, all Arduino have analog input pins and a small program can relay the result via SmartThings shield or wifi. But great if this complexity can be avoided.
Hi, long time since this tread was active. I’m also looking for short range proximity sensor that integrate to ST. Did you manage to find something ? Is there any sensor based on Sharp proximity sensor GP2Y0D805Z0F that can be connected to ST ?
