SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE for EcoLINK sensors.... can you short the event handler time to recognize OFFLINE?

Hi All, @nayelyz @rickv
Thanks for all your help in the past. We use subscriptions for registering device events.
When our hub connected Ecolink sensors go OFFLINE we get an event type →
’ DEVICE_HEALTH_EVENT’ reason → ‘SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE’.

It can take up to 8 hours for this event to trigger. Is there a way to shorten the time it takes to recognize the device is offline? When the device does come back online is the reason set to ‘SERVICE_AVAILABLE’? I can’t find it in the documentation. Any pointers are helpful.

thx,

Fred

@nayelyz @erickv Whoops nevermind. the reason is set to ‘NONE’ for the Ecolink motion and contacts when they come back ‘ONLINE’. OK for now!

This depends on the device handler or device or integration or hub depending on how it’s integrated with the platform. It’s not something that the user can adjust
