Sengled smart light switch

Hi folks,

I have some questions about the Sengled smart light switch :

Do you know if this Sengled smart light switch is compatible with Smartthings?
Do I need a device handler?
Is it working as a dimmer or as 4 independent buttons?

Thank you!

It is except for battery reporting. It shows up in ST as a dimmer switch.

Is there a way to use the two dimmer buttons in an automation?

Yes, just follow these directions:

However, would like to know how to program the user-defined keys. Anyone know how to do that in ST?

This thread came up at the top of my Google search, so I’ll share my solution.
Smartthings allows you to create automations for the dimmer level of the switch.

When you press one of the dimmer buttons, the value increments or decrements by 5, so you can assign different actions to dim levels 100, 95, etc and use the dim keys to cycle between them.

Additionally, I created an automation that prevents you from going past the bottom of the actions you want to trigger.
I have a scene assigned to the switch’s brightness 100 and 95, so I created an automation for 90 and below that sets the switch’s brightness back to 95.

You can use “Mirror” behavior whithin Smart Lighting app

or use it in Automations.
Sadly you can’t use ABC Manager or device button assignments as device handler report this as Switch not as Button controller.

Is there a way to make this work in the latest SmartThings app? My understanding is that the Classic app has been deprecated and can no longer be used.

When I create a Routine and select my Sengled dimmer this is what I see.

Use Smart Lightning app.
