Is there an app or any code to query a device and return what all of its parameters and information (model/firmware/etc) are ?

I suspect (okay DREAM- lol) someone someday can write a generic DTH/smartapp combo and you could assign the DTH to any device so you could read back the existing parameter values off the device and then edit any parameter on any device as you want. Then change back to the “correct DTH” and be on your way.
