I’ve been having an issue with the text message sent to my phone after the security gets alarmed. Everything works as expected but for some reason the time in the message isn’t right, I’ve already set my location in the app, have some routines to run at specific times and they work very well.

“[SmartThings Home Monitor] Kitchen Window 1: Opened (Oct 26, 2025 22:00:14 PM (UTC))”

Is there a way to change the time zone for these? I’d like to change it over to my local timezone MST.

Hi,

We reviewed your case with the engineering team, and they confirmed that this is expected behavior. As of now, there’s no setting or menu available to change the timezone of these alerts to local time. We recommend referencing your local time offset from UTC when reviewing these notifications.
