I don’t know why people are making the automatic assumption this is the answer to the Amazon echo. From the looks of it, it has a single microphone facing a single direction, as opposed to a microphone array. It’s not going to be terribly useful if you’re not in range of maybe a few feet. I’m thinking this is a conference call speaker phone.
