Hi all. I need help getting my Samsung PowerBot R7040 to connect to Alexa. I like to think I’m tech savvy so I’m extremely frustrated it won’t work. The vacuum connects to my phone fine and I can control it via the ST app. I have the ST skill enabled in the Alexa app and it detected the device. Whenever I use the trigger phrase the vacuum dings, but doesn’t do anything. What gives?

While The Samsung powerbot is part of that extended platform, I think you’ll probably get a quicker and better answer if you use the vacuum cleaner support form, which also has staff participating.

Check your logs to see what command the vacuum is being given via smartthings by Alexa?
Maybe she’s not sending the right command?
