Hello,
We recently acquired a Samsung HW-Q930D (2024), which has the following connections:
- HDMI 2x (1x HDMI eARC/ARC)
- Digital (Toslink)
We are running a HomeAssistant server that allows us to change the source of the soundbar via SmartThings. This setup enables voice control to adjust the source.
However, there are only four options available under supportInputSources
:
- Digital
- HDMI1
- Bluetooth
- Wifi
There should be an additional one for HDMI eARC/ARC.
When switching using the remote control, it seems to show as “Digital,” even though D.IN is also labeled as Digital.
Currently, we have an LP player connected via Toslink (Digital), and the TV is connected via HDMI eARC/ARC.
This setup works well, but the supportInputSources
configuration doesn’t properly distinguish between the LP player and HDMI eARC/ARC. This is because both are using the Digital InputSource.
