Samsung have broken SmartThings / Samsung TV integration!

You start by throwing it in the trash. Samsung has known about the non-connectivity issue for over a year and will not do anything about it. They have our money, now they can’t care less. I guarantee they will not get any more of my money for any appliance or electronics. Sorry bud, but like everyone else, you got screwed.

You need to use the new SmartThings app with it. This will probably require getting in touch with support and having your existing account migrated over, unless you joined after March 2017, in which case you already have a Samsung login and should be able to log in to the app now. The app is still a work in progress yet, so while the TV will connect, other things do not yet

What happened with this? I have a q80 and it connects fine with smartthings but I can’t do any automations or scenes. It shows up in my devices list. So far I’ve been having to solve glitches and do workarounds at every next corner with smart things. It’s been a hassle more than anything.
