# Routine Ignoring Presence Device and Location - Please Help?

Thanks for the shout-out, @TheHundredthIdiot! 🙏 Glad it’s working well for you, and using it for location mode and STHM arm/disarm is exactly what it’s built for 👍

For anyone else here whose geofence presence stopped reporting “away”: WiFi Presence SD runs locally on the hub and doesn’t depend on the SmartThings app or phone location, so app updates don’t affect it. Details and setup are here:

A tip for arm/disarm routines: set **Away after** to about 10 minutes, so a sleeping phone never triggers a false “away” 🔒
