I just connected a new Ring Door/Window sensor up and updated the device handler to Zwave Plus Door/Window Sensor.

The device works fine, shows open/close, but the Battery is empty and shows a “Couldn’t get device status” error. Any ideas?

You should try @milandjurovic71 Edge Driver.

Thanks. I went back to the device just now to check it again and now the battery is being reported. Idk what happened.

Battery operated devices often report at fairly long intervals in order to get better battery life. For example, some smoke detectors only update battery level once a week. So it may be that it just took awhile for the first report. 🤔
