I recently added my child to SmartThings with restricted access to specific devices. I’m trying to get his phone setup as a presence sensor to disarm/arm when arriving/leaving our home. When I go to Home Monitor and select Useful Features I get the prompt, “To do this, you first need to get access from the owner of this location.” However, I don’t see a specific device that gives this access. Is it possible to make his phone a presence sensor without giving him Full Access?
on his phone, did you tap on Menu, then click on the cog in the upper right and enable get location for this phone? 
Thanks! That’s exactly what I needed. Now I’m able to add his phone to the Useful features section on my phone. We shall see how it works tomorrow.
How is he able to view Home Monitor status?
