Reset - Galaxy S10 Plus and Tracker SM-V1110V

Hello All!
There was an issue with my billing (I think), and one of my trackers got disconnected. The other one is working fine and gets billed correctly.
So I am trying to re-activate the disconnected tracker. I removed from the “Mythings” with verizon and removed from my smartthings app. I just get the blue light steady then flashing blue. I never get the alternating red/green/blue.
I saw somewhere about holding the power off button for 7 seconds, but that doesn’t seem to work and I don’t know if I’m doing that rumored action correctly or not.
