I don’t see why an Echo and Fire Tablet can’t be paired to make an Echo Show…For that matter, any PC or Mac. I just can’t justify the Show Price. I might be in at $150 but even $180 (If you buy 2) is a stretch for me for a tablet with a speaker that I am not going to use as all my echos and dots are connected to “Big Sound” stuff…
Arrrrggg. In the meantime, I have Siri for Facetime calling and Cortana for onscreen interaction.

Maybe this pushes Amazon to increase Show’s puny screen size and start a pricing war. not enough value add, at current price for the Show.
