I moved this summer and when I set up the ST hub in the new home, I renamed it to reflect the new location. It seems the old name is still hanging around. For instance, I just set up my new Samsung Watch 3, installed the ST app, and the old hub name came to the watch. I cannot find a place in the watch to rename the hub. I have searched the phone app and IDE, but cannot find any reference to the old hub name. I originally changed the hub name on the classic app, but the new app reflects the new name. Does anyone have any idea as to why the old name is still appearing once in a while and how I can get this reference changed?
Did you rename the hub or location?
You should be able to edit both in the ST app.
To rename the location > dashboard > more options (3 dots in the upper right of the screen) > manage location
To rename hub > menu > devices > your hub > more options (3 dots in the upper right of the screen) > edit
