Please be sure to give ActionTiles’s own forum a try too: http://support.actiontiles.com/forums/12-actiontiles-forum/categories/65-video-camera-feeds/topics/
thanks, will have a look.
Suggestion: It would be helpful if we can just duplicate a dashboard and edit it to create another one for a different device, presently we have to start from scratch.
Please search and use the ActionTiles Support & Ideas Forum. You’ll find the above Feature Request already on there and you can add Votes and comments.
Please post any additional ideas on that Forum.
Well, I paid for my ActionTiles subscription yesterday…right before sending off my annual tribute to Uncle Sam.
Guess which one involved a lot of sailor talk.
“The Tax Man: You just docked?
Popeye: I has.
The Tax Man: Ah ha, let’s see here, that’ll be 25¢ docking tax.
Popeye: What for?
The Tax Man: Where’s your sea craft?
Popeye: It ain’t no sea craft, it’s me dinghy and it’s under the wharf.
The Tax Man: Ah ha. ahh-ha. This your goods?
Popeye: They is.
The Tax Man: Yeah. You’re new in town right?
Popeye: If you call this a town, yes.
The Tax Man: Well, first of all, there’s 17¢ new-in-town tax, and there’s 45¢ rowboat-under-the-wharf tax, and one dollar leaving-your-junk-lying-around-the-wharf tax, so all together, you owe the Commodore $1.87.
Popeye: Uh, who’s this Commodore?
The Tax Man: Is that the nature of question? There’s a nickel question tax.”
I yam what I yam.
I paid for a key yesterday morning and everything was working great. This morning I tried to log on with a new device and my panels and location seem to have disappeared. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
edit: everything came back for a minute and then disappeared again
edit: everything’s working again
I just tried my panel listing and had to refresh the browser, so try that.
My guess would be that there was a momentary blip with the Google AJAX API’s… it seems to be somewhat intermittent.

Back up now
IDE not longer reporting errors
@Belgarion, @tmleafs, …
Thanks for the reports, guys!
This lines up with a short outage reported by one of our major cloud providers from around 0500h to 0535h Pacific Time (UTC-7).
We believe everything is back online now and apologize for the service interruption. Please refresh your browser if the data does not look current.
There is an issue with Chrome, that affects Blue Iris video streams in particular.
Chrome only allows up to 6 video streams from the same IP to be displayed at the same time. When a video tile is tapped, it creates a new instance of a video stream and another video slot is used up. When all 6 of them are used up, things get screwy.
We are aware of this issue and have plans to address it. We don’t have an ETA at the moment.
Fully runs entirely on top of Android “web-view / Chromium”, so it will generally have the same issues as Chrome.
I’m checking this out for the first time. It looks great, but will there be support for controlling SmartApps/CoRE in a tile in the near future? I don’t really want to create a bunch of Virtual Switches if possible.
Which feature are you referring to, James?
Oh sorry, I’m checking out ActionTiles for the first time. I want to mount a tablet in my wall eventually and this is my first time playing around with anything like this. I’m wondering if there’s a way to create a tile that triggers a SmartApp, without needing to create a Virtual Switch. I use CoRE for most of my triggering, not the built-in Routines.
Scratch that, I only have a couple things I’ll need virtual switches for, not as big of a deal as I thought. So far this is great, thanks.
Y’all are geniuses. How do I pay for this?
Thanks!!!
In the app: go to My Locations / location / menu - Location License.
Oh snap, we’re able to grab animated gifs and use them as camera tiles. I’m currently displaying my local Intellicast radar animation: http://www.intellicast.com/National/Radar/Current.aspx?location=USVA0731&animate=true
If this works right, it should constantly show the past 2-hour radar animation of any approaching storms.
Edit: Just read all 652 posts. Y’all already know how to do this
