If you’re using a Schlage Connect or BE469 you may want to refer to this post. These models have a firmware defect where it can lose notifications which may explain why your switch isn’t triggered. There’s a partial fix available for it through the Enhanced Universal Z-Wave lock device handler.
Another point to check, when creating an Automation which is triggered when your Virtual Disarm switch is turned on, you need to “turn off your virtual switch” in the same automation or it won’t trigger the next time.
