[DEPRECATED] EchoSistant Evolved ~ Amazon Echo's Only Assistant with Robust Scheduling and Flexible Reporting

Ok, I replicated. Looking into it…

He did  “Found the problem, please update webCoRE again, I’ve republished v0.1.099, so if you already upgraded, do it again on the piston smartapp, thanks”

Hi there. Any solution to this? I have exactly the same problem. All tested well in AWS panel and I can see the EchoSistant Main Intent Skill enabled in the Alexa App, but not getting anything from echo. I’m in UK.

Hey there,
According to the aws test log you’re good to go.
Do you have external speakers set up in your ST system to push your messages to? You can not currently push messages to the echo.

I don’t have external speakers. I’m using LANdroid Announcer. I have just created a test profile inspired by “Baby is going to bed” example in the wiki. My profile is called Amelia. When I type “Amelia it’s bed time” in AWS Test I’m getting the message repeated on my phone speaker and a lamp turns off. When I say"Alexa, tell Amelia it’s bed time", she replies “I’m not quite sure how to help you with that”

I’m sorry you’re having trouble. Will you please open the live logs and try it again. Post a SCREENSHOT of the “Amelia” profile after trying to run it again.

also, look in your Alexa mobile app and make sure that Alexa is hearing you correctly.

I have changed the profile name from Amelia to Victor as Alexa had some troubles hearing that.

Thanks!

it’s looking it’s working, unless I’m missing something… is that right?

Unfortunately it doesn’t work. Alexa doesn’t have a clue what “Victor” or “Home” is. Thanks.

In your AWS main skill and profiles skills, did you choose the UK language.

It looks like you might have the US language selected

Bingo. Working now. Another stupid mistake from me. The Main Intent language was set to English US.
Thanks a lot!

Good morning everyone!
I’ve added a new feature and I need a couple of beta testers to give it a run. For this one I need specifics… You need to have pets… Cats, dogs, or both.

Thank you!

I have a cat, what you got?

I have 2 cats and a dog, and am intrigued by this beta…

Do they need to be able to learn new tricks?

I’m sending you a pm.
