UK. thanks for your time, hope this hasn’t put you in the doghouse with the wife…

(Anthony S.) #1878

Glad to hear it…

Not at all she is very understanding of my enjoyment of this stuff. (As long as when she wants something it gets done)

(ocpd+adhd+alz+md+hfa+fms+lol=me :)) #1879

Done, and all is OK.
Thanks again, Anthony.

(Anthony S.) #1880

Glad it’s working… I was impulsive on deploying without more testing. So i’m sorry for all the trouble (That’s not to say I needed to treated like shit because I made a mistake)

#1881

Dankie @rednose66

(Andy Taylor) #1882

Another one working in the UK with 2.1.1 :+1:

Thanks for the quick fix.

(Anthony S.) #1883

That’s enough people working to constitute a fix for me…

(Chris Nelson) #1884

Working now in the UK. much appreciated for the quick fix.

(Anthony S.) #1885

Sorry about all the drama… I never should have been so impulsive to push out the last version without more testing.

RELEASED: V2.1.1

App:
• ADDED: Documentation link now on the main page.
• ADDED: regionLocale environment variable is now passed and created by the server.
• FIXED: Some minor bug fixes

Server:
• FIXED: Login fixes for Non-US users

(Lynn Brittain) #1886

Thanks, we all appreciate all the work you have put into developing this app.

(Anthony S.) #1887

I apologize my battery died right while I was pushing out the new server…
So it’s just now deploying to github right now

#1888

Uhh, you left “be” out… so maybe you do deserve it.

I’ve not always been so appreciative of the work the community developers here have done, previously I lacked the basic knowledge of the process within the ST environment, along with other factors a person with no IT background would likely not know without some research. Shout out to @tonesto7 and others for yet another awesome integration/feature at no obligational cost.

Secretly(don’t tell nobody), I was hoping for a lil mo drama. I enjoy a good read on a Sunday.

Just tried installing 2.1.1 here and I’m still getting cookie errors despite seeing Authentication Good in Heroku. Here are my smartthings logs:

Anything I can do to help troubleshoot?

(Anthony S.) #1890

There is more to the process than just updating the SmartApp.

Share a screen shot of the server page:

Here you go! I tried ripping everything out and starting from scratch. Installed the community installer, made a new Heroku app and appear to have authenticated:

I also see the Begin Heroku Setup option in the smart app, which went away in the previous release that was working. Even if I deploy the app and login successfully, when I hit save in the app and wait say 5 minutes, I still see this.

(Anthony S.) #1892

Clear the login and login again

(Anthony S.) #1893

Also keep the IDE logs open and look for any errors

(Brooke) #1894

Still no go unfortunately. Still see image

Although logs still showing:

@tonesto7
Not critical; mostly just FYI, and a slight request…

While looking at the Alexa devices outside of the SmartApp, naming is working now. That’s a nice usability improvement, and I really appreciate it.

However, the names for these same devices is not reflected correctly within the SmartApp; it still lists them as they were at one time in the past.

Now, I could just back everything out, delete the Heroku app, and the SmartApp, and let it remove all of the Alexa devices that it created, and that would be fine, but since it’s not allowing me to uninstall the SmartApp, that’s not possible.

That said, I don’t really care. It’s all working properly, and even if they stay with their current names within the SmartApp, and even if I can never ninstall it, I will be fine.

(Anthony S.) #1896

That list is generated based on data received from Amazon. It’s not actually querying the devices.
(I never even thought about using it that way)
