I would just like to say thank you for this - the default ST integration appears to be broken since December of 2021, and this custom device handler is polling with no issues once installed. The hardship was finding where the custom smartapp goes in the new awful ST app on your phone → if anyone else is looking, it’s under Automations, then +, then Add a Routine, then go to DISCOVER, then scroll to the bottom.
Any edge driver for these? Official integration is dead.
I have a local driver that works fairly well but doesn’t have the integration to the Air Care service like the official integration had. It’s written for groovy though which is going to die soon and I’m trying to learn how to use Edge Drivers. If anyone could help that would be great, it’s really fairly simple as there driver just needs to add a device based on a local IP address “http://192.168.1.78/air-data/latest” for example and then read the JSON output “{“timestamp”:“2022-08-29T01:47:18.254Z”,“score”:92,“dew_point”:14.36,“temp”:24.18,“humid”:54.28,“abs_humid”:11.90,“co2”:453,“co2_est”:465,“co2_est_baseline”:35883,“voc”:460,“voc_baseline”:38401,“voc_h2_raw”:25,“voc_ethanol_raw”:36,“pm25”:0,“pm10_est”:1}” and then set values for the capabilities based on this and refresh up to every minute.
