Just curious in case I have to. What is the procedure to reboot the Hub V2. Do I have to take the batteries out? or do I just unplug the hub, wait a few minutes, and plug the electric cord back in.
Thanks in advance.
Pull the batteries, then the cord.
I think you can also do it from the IDE and the reset button on the back. Haven’t had to do either.
Well I guess I should of checked the support website first. Here is the procedure.
To reboot the Samsung SmartThings Hub (Hub v2)
Follow these steps:
1.Press the recessed red button on the back of the Hub once
2.Wait 5-10 minutes for the Hub to reboot
3.When the Hub is back online, its LED will turn solid green
Alternatively, you can perform a “hard” reboot of the Hub (if button-pressing isn’t your thing):
1.Disconnect the power and ethernet cables from the Hub
2.Remove the 4 AA batteries (if installed)
3.Wait 2-3 minutes
4.Reinstall the batteries (optional but recommended)
5.Reconnect the power and ethernet cables
6.When the Hub is back online, its LED will turn solid green
