The power strip has two connected outlets and it will be in SmartThings labs soon. As will the Spotter and other Quirky devices.

Enjoy!

@twack How soon until Spotter will show up? Is it Zigbee or Zwave?

I’m assuming you mean “how soon will it show up in labs?”. Well, I don’t have an exact date as it is waiting on SmartThings. Hopefully one of the ST peeps will chime in.

@twack Have you used one of the Spotters ? The reviews on amazon of it are horrible, like really bad for all of the reviews.

I think that it works better in the smartthings environment. That’s my opinion. You can read my reviews in this thread:

HTH,
Twack

Also, ThinkGeek has it for much cheaper than the 20% off as discussed on the other thread. Use RTME10 for $10 off $50.

So I noticed these are now in the device type, I have 4 of these coming in tomorrow so I’d love it if @twack or someone else could share how these can be added.

Edit We’re getting support for the Nimbus too?!? Now that has to have some interesting uses

@andy,

Where are you seeing them?

Twack

I’m seeing them in the ide when you add a new device under the Type selection, all four of the Quirky Connected devices are listed. I’m guessing it’s probably a matter of new firmware to make them actually addable. The nimbus could really become a useful tool if it was possible for it to both send and receive data from ST.
