Push going through ST App?

Hello all,

I use RM for everything… and love it BTW. I was under the impression that Push notifications would go directly to the registered phones yet mine are going through the ST app.

Is this right or am I missing something?

The goal is to have non urgent events come through SMS and urgent through Push/SMS

Push messages have to be associated with an app on most mobile operating systems. Generally you can’t send push notifications directly to a device without first installing an app, getting permission and then that app sending a device token to a server to be associated with an account (in this case ST).

Since RM will be using ST’s push service, it will be associated with the ST app.
