Anyone ever integrate XHS2-UE sensors? There’s an old groovy DTH, but it’s not on edge yet.
still haven’t seen anything
@uncdubdiver tagging dean Bergman whose name is mentioned in the Govee Dbdev dth in case Dean is aware of any edge driver ?
Hey sorry what was the original task/request for this? Govee with the new smart things drivers? If so sorry I no longer have a ST hub so I wouldn’t be able to develop or test anything.
Also I’m looking to get away from Govee, had nothing but bag luck with their API request support for adding any features at all, plus their led strings keep burning out and I’ve had to replace a lot of them.
Looking for an edge driver for Nyce open/close door sensor (zigbee sensor in hinge) and also everspring z-wave leak sensors, anyone have any?
I have the Utiltec Water Sensor that is the same as the Everspring and it works with ST’s stock “Z-Wave Sensor” Driver. So I would try that driver.
Hola @manuelceja
I’m just starting to try to switch Trippers over to @Mariano_Colmenarejo ’s driver. I’ve only tried w/ a couple so far, but having the same issue where they are not fully onboarding. I have a hypothesis that it may have something to do with their not connecting directly to hub at first - I’ll be testing that out. They are, as their name says, Quirky! (But I have 25 of them and they have been rock solid on Smart Things all along - so I’m pretty motivated!).
When you say you changed the driver - were they already on another Edge driver - or are you switching them from a DTH?
Hope we can make them work!
Hello,
I have four of the old Swiidinter cord switches installed and I can’t seem to be able to get them to use Edge drivers. They are very basic Z-Wave switches, but are only recognised as DTH devices and there seems to be no way to force the Edge driver.
From the old IDE, the raw description is:
zw:L type:1001 mfr:0166 prod:0100 model:0100 ver:1.82 zwv:3.67 lib:06 cc:25,27,85,72,86
Can that somehow be added? Or can someone tell me how to force Smartthings to use the standard Z-Wave Switch Edge driver instead of the DTH?
Thanks!!
Yeah it was the edge driver for Govee led strips. Thanks Dean, appreciate you taking the time to reply
Does anyone know what edge driver to use for aeotech gen 5 speaker?
Thanks
Dom
While what you say about SmartThings rushing into this upgrade without much of a plan for how to fully migrate, etc.etc. etc. is true, they have at least made their deadlines more fluid which I think is a good sign. On the other hand, I have always had a wonderful experience with Qubino support. I followed back up with them just before Christmas and they are actively working on Edge Driver updates, but as far as I know, they are not fully available yet. They are pivotal in most of my most important automations, so it’s really important to me that this happen, and I do believe it will based on my conversations with Qubino.
I have found out the hard way that govee strips are pure garbage…as a matter of fact, Tuya srrips , many of which are identical per modeland half thr price are far superior
Have the same problem…
Trying to move my Qubino flush thermostats to ST but they only include as energy monitors!?
@Mariano_Colmenarejo i was looking for an edge driver for my sengled light strips & came across a post from you mentioning you made one. Is that something that i can use with mine also?
Thanks
Dom
I can confirm these still try to add as a legacy device.
Anyone able to add to an existing leak sensor?
