Are there any plug-in devices out there that can control the speed of a desk fan? Essentially a plug-in dimmer module like the Lutron Caseta one, but that can handle a motor load.
I’m not aware of any The control speed. There are ones that can handle the motor drive just for on/off, but of course that’s a separate use Case.
If you find one that has a handheld remote, there might be some options with that.

We haven’t heard of any device like that unfortunately but will dig some more and post here if we find anything that’s suitable for your application.
