Please help the Newb with quick question - Pulling (trigger) new smartapp into a routine or thing

I wrote a smartapp to do a HTTP “get” on a local web-server (ESP8266). I am able to add it as a smartapp, but can’t figure out how to trigger it. I’ve been messing with it on and off, but can’t figure it out.

What am I missing?
