# Phone seems to be triggering backwards

Ok what am I doing wrong this triggers when I leave instead of coming home.

My phone does show coming and going correctly.

It’s because their automation logic is hosed and when some one leaves, it assesses the presence of everyone in the group and considers it an arrival if anyone is home, despite them already being there.

You can work around the bug by creating separate automation for each individual person.

Automations with presence and a mode precondition also don’t work reliably, but since you don’t have a mode precondition the above workaround should work.

Same for me. I will create separate automation for each individual person.
