I’m currently using ifttt to create a google sheet logging temperature data from a aeon multi sensor 6. It works well but only integer values are passed through ifttt, no decimal. Is this something that can be configured in smartthings?

How the values are reported is a function of the device handler and the device. If the device is sensitive enough to report decimals then it will but some device handlers will convert the value to an integer. You can change this behavior by editing the device handler. If the device is not sensitive enough to report decimals then there is noting ST can do about it other than report an arbitrary decimal value.
