Welcome Tony! There is no stock solution for bulb grouping, but there are several community created options available. You will have to login in to the IDE and copy/paste code, but it’s real easy. Here’s a thread on using custom code in ST:
The original FAQ information in this thread refers to the original smartthings architecture, which was in place through the end of 2022 and a little beyond. Custom code was written in the groovy programming language and ran in the smartthings cloud.
As of May 2023, you can no longer add new Groovy DTH‘s or smartapps to your smartthings account. So if you came here because of a link in an old forum thread, or on another site, I’m afraid the Groovy information is no longer usable.

Usually the best way to controls groups is to create a virtual device, then use a SmartApp to replicate the changes to the virtual device out to the intended group bulbs. Here’s an option I built:
These updates have been made as well as updating the virtual color temp dimmer to use a custom range slider 2700-6500, so no conversion. I updated the kelvin value tile to use the background color to approximate the white shade.
Here are the links:
There is also this option, which I like:
This is pretty broken now… thanks SmartThings!
EDIT: Through no determinable method as I was just messing about trying to get things to happen. I’ve managed to delete my superfluous group. Things are still pretty screwed up though.
