Repeaters are the Devil with Xiaomi.
If you find it in the path you have to delete and re-add otherwise there is sure to be a drop in your future.
Try pairing it right next to the hub, then move to install location
I am also having issues pairing my Aqara devices. I had everything paired in the classic app and migrated to the new app on the deadline day. Everything had been working fine until today, one of the devices wouldn’t work at all and I am unable to pair it. I put the Aqara switch in pairing mode and add device in ST through “Scan” but it never finds anything. Any advice here?
Do it many times and press the button constantly eventually it will work
Thanks for the advice, I have now got it connected again. What was happening is the device wouldn’t show up in the discovery section but it was added straight my devices. The Aqara button went out of sync mode but I didn’t see it in discovery so I exited and then saw it in the device list. All working as intended now.
