Well, if you’re feeling froggy you can install the askAlexa smart app.

You can then not only tell her to open and close, but you can ask her if they are open or closed and she tells you. You’ll also get the percentage that they are open as well.

@jnschemm MichaelS is absolutely correct. the AskHome programming is for programmers. Those that like to and have the ability to fully program and customize their system. AskAlexa is for those that are not programmers, but want the ability to do the same as the programmers. Michaels software allows you to have that as well.
