I have a similar problem with devices controlling a very low powered solenoid valve.

First l tried a quality Z-wave switch then a cheap matter over WiFi smart relay. The both work for a while then go offline. I have the power cycle the circuit to get them back on line. They are all close to my hub.

I never considered that the inductive load may be causing the problem.

My next opinions are a WiFi switch or a ZigBee smart relay, based on spare devices that I have.

Three of my Eve Energy are connected to fans (30-60 W) and one to a fridge since about two years now. No issues here.

Yes, as they do from time to time throughout the year they dropped from 40 squiddlies down to 30. That compares to the Onvis which can be bought pretty much all year round for £16.50 as part of a two pack (the four packs used to be cheaper but have had limited availability for months and they are not currently discounted).
