Old version 1 hub: limitations with new V3 app?

I have a location with an old version 1 hub running firmware 13.13. I have other homes (myself and parents’) running on the new hub with latest firmware. Are there any limitations on the old hub besides no local processing? I’d like to start using the new app, but I don’t want to waste time if it isn’t compatible with something I’ll need.

I’m still using a V1 hub with the new V3 app and haven’t found anything that is different from the other users in the community that are on V2 and V3 hubs.

Other than the UI of the new app is often flakey, doesn’t seem to always update device status in a timely manner and likes to crash often. I’m running it on an Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android 8.0.0 installed.
