Offline device created new one when re-connected

Not sure if anybody else has experienced this lately. I had a zigbee blind go offline overnight and when it connected back, it created a new blind with the generic name you normally get when adding a new device. I pressed the open button on the app and sure enough it opened the blind that was showing offline. I had to delete the offline blind and re-add the new one to all my automations. I have never had this before.
